Shoushan stone is a kind of alabaster from a mountain of the same name in northern Fuzhou. The natural stone ranges in colour from soft pinks, blues and greens through to rich earthy browns, giving the beads a beautiful unique appearance.
These stunning, genuine, Shoushan stone beads are a lovely pale blue shade with white and coppery veins. There are two variants featuring different wires.
- fit onto knitting needles up to 9mm
- one set features a 8mm genuine pale blue Shoushan stone bead and a copper disc rondelle on copper wire
- other set also features a 8mm genuine pale blue Shoushan stone bead but on steel wire
- each measures approximately 2.5cm in total length
