Lykke, pronounced “lu-Kah”, is Norwegian for Joy or Happiness - hence their tagline: Make Happy. 

Lykke products are manufactured in Kathmandu, Nepal. The company prides itself on not relying on automated manufacturing processes to produce their unique and beautiful products, instead employing local talented artisans to hand-finish the stunning needles and hooks available here. 

In return, Lykke returns revenue from the sale of products to the community through varied benefit programmes for the workers, their children, and the community.
